Quentin Jerome Tarantino is an American film director ,Screenwriter,producer,cinematographer and also an actor. In the early 1990′s he was an independent filmmaker whose films used nonlinear storylines and aestheticization of violence is high culture art . His films include Reservoir Dogs in the year 1992 ,Pulp Fictin in the year 1994 ,Jackie Brown in the year 1997 ,Kill Bill (this movie is a two part epic film,Vol 1 in the year 2003 and Vol 2 in the year 2004), Death Proof in the year 2007 and Inglourious Basterds in the year 2009 .His films have earned him Academy ,Golden Globe,BAFTA and Palme d’Or Awards and he also has been nominated for Emmy and Grammy Awards.
Academy is a popularly known as the Oscars are presented annually .Golden Globe Awards are presented annually by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to recognize outstanding achievements in the entertainment industry .BAFTA (British Academy Film Awards)is an annual award show hosted by the British Academy of film and television arts.Palme d’Or is the highest prize awarded to competing films.In the year 2007 Total film named him the 12th greatest director of all time
Tarantino was born on March 27,1963 in Knoxville ,Tennessee.He is the son of Connie McHugh Zastoupil who is a health care executive and nurse and Tony Tarantino is an actor and musician born in New York. Tarantino’s father is Italian American and his mother is of Irish .He attended Narbonne High School in Harbor City,California .
He is first year student before dropping out of school at age 15 .Quentin and his childhood friend ,Adam Olis began to make movies in his backyard using cheap animations. Then he attended acting school at the James Best Theater Company in Toluca Lake.At the age of 22 he held employment at the Video Archives a video rental store in Manhattan Beach .He spent all day discussing and recommending films to customers.
