Brain Keith Bosworth is an actor and former American football player. He was also called as The Boz.He was a linebacker in the NCAA(National Collegiate Athletic Association) and the NFL(National Football League). Linebacker is a position in American and Canadian football .
Keith is born on March 9th,1965 in Oklahoma city.Keith was a college standout at the University of Oklahoma, where he was one of many blue chip recruits from Texas lured across the border by longtime coach Barry Switzer.He was the one of the person who never feel shy from publicity or controversy. On more than one occasion Bosworth referred to the NCAA as the “National Communists Against Athletes”.
He also wore a shirt bearing that slogan during the year 1987 Orange Bowl (this is an American College football bowl game played at LandShark Stadium in Miami Gardens ,Florida) following the year 1986 season. Keith was banned from the game because of steriod use .Steriod harmones are related to the harmone testoterone .They increase protein synthesis within cells. This is one type of drug.This drug will be inject especially in muscles.
Bosworth unveiled the shirt while standing on the sidelines to the shock and outrage of many ,including his own coach ,Switzer.While Switzer was known for running a loose ship ,this incident was too much even for him, and he threw Bosworth off the team.The winner of the first two Butkus Awards as the nation’s top college linebacker,he remains the only player ever to have won the accolade more than once.College Football Newa named Bosworth with #30 on its list of the “100 Greatest College Players of All-Time”.In addition of his athletic accomplishments ,Bosworth was a very good student who graduated a year ahead of his first year class,and this make him eligible for the NFL’s supplemental draft.
Bosworth started his acting career in the action film Stone Cold in the year 1991.And he acted in several low budget titles such as One Man’s Justice that went straight to DVD.In the year 2005 he had a role as one of the prison guard football players in the Adam Sandler movie remake The Longest Yard. Other films are Mach 3 ,Virus and Blackout.
