Jackie Jackson’s birth name is Sigmund Esco Jackson. He is also known as Esco Jackson, Jackie Jackson, and Esco. He was born on May 4, 1951 in Gary, Indiana, United States. He is singer-song writer, musician and dancer. He is a former member of The Jackson 5, and the second child in the Jackson family.
He was born on his mother’s 21st birthday. His parents were Joseph and Katherine. Jackie has four brothers, and he is the oldest male child. The king of pop Michael Jackson was one of his brothers. Jackson formed the Jackson 5 with his 4 younger brothers in 1964. His older sister Rebbie didn’t take part. He is the fantastic singer, he got good name throughout the early to mid 1970’s.
The Jackson 5 earned good name and turned to “The Jacksons” in 1975. They moved from Motown to CBS. The Jacksons hit album Destiny was releases in 1978. After two years, The Jacksons also followed up Destiny with another successful album Triumph. They created many superhit albums. The brothers were separated after recording a final album in 1989, “2300 Jackson Street”. Jackie couldn’t join with his brothers again till 2001 when he took part in the Michael Jackson’s 30th Anniversary show.
At present he lives in California, and runs the record company, Jesco. Jackie was married by Enid Spann in November 1974. They divorced in 1987. He has two children, Sigmund Esco Jackson, Brandi Jackson.
