Shahana Goswami is a Bollywood actress.She was born on May 6th ,1986 in New Delhi,India. At present she was 23 years old. She attended Sardar Patel Vidyalaya which is a premier school in New Delhi,India. And she completed her graduation in Sophia college ,Mumbai. Shahana was the house captain and sports champion in her school days. She has represented in her school in athletics,badminton,basketball and volleyball at the zonal level. And also she secured the second position at the National Artificial Wall Climbing Competition.
In addition of all these she received training in Odissi(one type of dance) for 10 years under Guru Padmashri Kiran Segal and she has travelled and performed extensively with her dance troupe. Shahana had a single minded focus on professional acting since her childhood. She moved to Mumbai to complete her graduation and to explore the possibility of taking up acting as a career. In Mumbai she started her first step in acting were at Jaimini Pathak’s theater group Working Title.There she started as a production assistant and then she acted in their productions”Seagull” and “Arabian Nights” .
In her theater circle she came to meet a talent consultant Shanoo Sharma who asked her to act for a role in Naseeruddin Shah’s directorial debut “Yun Hota to Kya Hota”.When she visited the production house for some other work Shahana acted a small role of Boman. Irani’s daughter in Reema Katgi’s “Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd”.Meanwhile a cinematographer who notice her work in Yun Hota recommended her name and she auditioned for the lead role i Percept Picture Company’s “Rubaru” directed by Arjun Balli, with Randeep Hooda as her co-star. She finally get the big break in the form of Debbie of Rock On.And her memorable performance secured her a visible spot on the Bollywood field. And also she appeared in the music video for Dido Armstrong’s song ,Let’s Do the Things We Normally Do. She played the role of the taxi driver in it.Dido Armstrong was the English singer ,songwriter and who has sold nearly 30 million albums worldwide.
