Roy Edward Disney was a longtime senior executive for The Walt Disney Company .This company is the largest media and entertainment conglomerate in the world. This company was founded on October 16th,1923 by Edward father Roy Oliver Disney and his uncle Walt Disney.Edward father became the chairman of the company.He served as the company’s chief execcutive officer from 1926 till the year 1971. In the year 1968 he given the title President.He was president from the year 1945 to 1971 .And he was chairman from 1966 to 1971.At the time of Edward death he was a shareholder for over 16 million shares or about 1%. And he served as a consultant for the company and Director Emeritus for the Board of Directors. He is best known for organizing of two top Disney executives.
Edward was born on January 10th,1930 in Los Angeles,California,US. He was the son of Edna and Roy Oliver Disney.And her nephew fo Walt Disney. He was graduated from Pormona College in the year 1951.And first he began working for the Walt Disney Company as an assistant director and producer. He continued till 1967 and then he was elected to the Board of Directors of the company.

He married Patricia.On January 19,2007 Roy filed divorce from his wife .At that time he was 77 years old and his wife was 72 years old. The couple married 52 years. They have four adult children.
Edward second wife Leslie DeMeuse
In the year 2008 he married Leslie DeMeuse who is a former ESPN and current CSTV producer and also she was the winner of various sailing documentaries. On December 16,2009 Disney was died because of Stomach cancer. For one year he suffered fom Stomach Cancer He died at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach.
