Kristen Wiig’s full name is Kristen Carroll Wiig. She is an American comic actress. She was born on August 22, 1973 in Canandaigua, New York, United States. Now, she works as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, and member of the Groundlings. Kristen Wiig also participated in the first season of Spike TV’s The Joe Schmo Show. When she was three, her family shifted from Canandaigua to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and later on to Rochester, New York.
In 1991, she has completed her graduation in Brighton High School. She went on to attend the University of Arizona with a major in art.She likes to act in comedy related stories. Also she was a regular performer in The Perks, at the Empty Stage Comedy Theatre whose run ended in 2000. She acted in The Joe Schmo Show in 2003. In this show her character is Dr. Pat, the Quack Marriage Counselor.
She was featured in EW’s list of the 25 Funniest Women in Hollywood. She also nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series on July 16, 2009. From 2005 to 2009 she got married by comedian Hayes Hargrove. She acted in many films and Shows including The Joe Schmo Show, Saturday Night Live, Unaccompanied Minors, Knocked Up, 30 Rock, Meet Bill, The Brothers Solomon, Extract, Bored to Death, and All Good Things.
