John Krasinski’s birth name is John Burke Krasinski. He is an American actor, film director, and writer. He was born on October 20, 1979. His parents were Dr. Ronald krasinski, and Mary Clare. His father is an internist, and his mother is an Irish American. John Krasinski has two older brothers, Kevin and Paul. He acted in few films including Shrek the Third, Leatherheads, License to Wed, and Away We Go.

He is well known for playing Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom The Office. In 1997, He completed his graduation in Newton South High School. Later, he completed his course in theater arts with Lowry Marshall and John Emigh in Brown University. After that, he was joined in the National Theater Institute in Waterford, Connecticut.

He read the David Foster Wallace’s “Brief Interviews with Hideous Men” book. That book inspired him alot. Then he decided to enter in the film industry as an actor. Besides training at the National Theater Institute, he also studied at The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon and The Actors Center in New York City. He announced his engagement with English actress Emily Blunt.

Also Krasinski was featured in People magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive issue in 2006. Some of his films are Kinsey, Taxi, Duane Hopwood, Jarhead, The Holiday, License to Wed, and Leatherheads.
