India Institute of Technology Hyderabad is onr of the IIt’s in India . The IIT’s were started by an Act of the Parliament i.e.the Institutes of Technology Act in the year 1961.Currently IIT are administered by the Ministry of Human Resource Development , Government of India. The Institue is running under the mentorship of IIt Madras.
The Institute is located in its temporary premises in the residential campus of Ordnance Factory Medak at Yeddumailaramat Medak District ,Andhra Pradesh.The institue consits of hostels,classromms,offices,recreation,sports and also medical facilities , these all equipments are located within the campus. But the permanent campus is locaed on the National Highway at Kandi village near Sangareddy town in Medak District ,Andhra Pradesh. The campus was inaugurated by Sonia Gandhi who is the president of Indian National Congress on February 27th 2009. The construction of the campus will be completed by the Summer of 2010. From third academic year onwards the students will join the campus directly.
