
Jack’s Mannequin is an American rock band which was formed in the year 2004. It was from Orange County, California. It mainly comprises guitarist Bobby Anderson, bassist Jonathan Sullivan and drummer Jay McMillan. It was formed as a side project of Andrew McMahon. He became before the release of their debut album, Everything in Transit in August 2005. This album was rated number 37 on the Billboard 200. He recovered completely after that. Their recent album is The Glass Passenger which was released in 2009 which sold 49,000 copies in the first week and ranked 8th position on the Billboard 200.
Andrew McMahon was initially the lead vocalist and pianist for the Orange County piano rock band. The song “Locked doors” was the inspiration to create this band. Their other albums were The Glass Passenger, The Ghost Overground. They also released “Dear Jack”, “Diane, the skyscraper”, “There, There Katie” and “Swim (Music Box)”.
