Children’s Day is an event celebrated on various days in many places around the world.International Children’s Day is celebrated on June 1 and Universal Children’s Day is on November 20th .Many of the countries celebrate a local children’s day on other dates .
Children’s day is to celebrate mainly on Childhood . Childrens are loved by one and all .They win each and every one heart with their angelic eyes and innocent smiles . Childrens are considered as the gifts of gods .
Our India’s first was Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He was born on November 14 1889 .He was the great Indian Man .After his death in 1963 we ae celebrated childrens day on the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehruji who loved and was loved by childrens .He was called as Chachaji by children s .So that we can remember our great leader for every year. Children’s Day is celebrated all over India especially at the school level .
The reason why Chachaji’s birthday has been chosen for the celebration of children is because of his love and passion for children .Pandit Nehru is also regarded as the country’s special child to have been the first Prime Minister after his long struggle for independence .So, Children’s Day’s in India is celebrated on Pandit Nehruji’s birthday as a day of fun and frolic, a celebration of childhood ,children and Nehruji’s love for them .As a tribute to his love for children ,Nehruji’s birthday is celebrated all over india as Childrens Day
Children’s Day was first celebrated worldwide in October 1953 under the sponsorship of international union for child welfare .
Children’s Day is special day for the children.This day reminds to each and every one of us to renew our commitment to the welfare of children and teach them to live by their Chacha Nehru’s quality and dream.
Celebration :
Most of the schools conducted cultural programmes on November 14th .Each and every school conduct competitions for children .Children’s Day is a day for childrens to involve themselves in fun and enjoyment .Teachers of the school perform songs and dances for their students .And also they conduct various competitions like quizzes ,fancy dress competitions ,elocutions are organized on this day .Childrens need not wear uniforms and also given sweets .Every one will enjoy this day .
