Shooter movie was released on March 23, 2007. Antoine Fuqua was director of Shooter movie. The movie is based on the novel Point of Impact by novelist Stephen Hunter. The picture concerns a former United States Marine Corps Scout Sniper Bob Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg).
Bob Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg), was a retired Gunnery Sergeant Marine Scout Sniper. He is very good shooter and take out a target froma mile away. Colonel Isaac Johnson (Danny Glover) wants to assassinate the president from a large distance with a high powered rifle. So he reaches Bob Lee Swagger and tells his great plan to Swagger. Hero is working with Johnson’s workers. At the critical situation, police officer shots the Swagger, but he manages to escape from officer’s target. The agents announce that Swagger is the shooter.
After that he steals the car and covers his wounds. He takes refuge with Sarah Fenn (Kate Mara), widow of Swagger’s late spotter and close friend Donnie Fenn. Memphis helps to Swagger. Rogue agents kidnap Memphis and attempt to stage his suicide. Swagger kills the rogue agents. At last Swagger and Memphis surrender to the FBI.
