Wesley Johnson was born on July 11, 1987. His height is 6′7″, and his weight 198 lbs. forward from Corsicana, TX. He plays for the Syracuse Orange.
He had completed his schooling at Corsicana High School. In high school he averaged 15.2 points, 9.7 rebounds and 4.3 blocks. In 2004 and 2005, he was a first-team all district pick. He played for the Dallas Mustangs AAU team in Texas.
2006-2007
Wesley Johnson got honorable mention freshman All-America honors after averaging 12.3 points and 7.9 rebounds, starting 30 of 31 games. At No. 10 Texas A&M he scored 17 points.
2007-2008
Johnson missed five games because of his ankle got injured. Still he was named an honorable mention all-Big 12 selection after averaging 12.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
2008-2009
Johnson had decided to transfer following the 2998 season, and selected Syracuse. According NCAA transfer rules, he had to sit out the 2008-09 season.
2009-2010
He scored 25 points in a Syracuse victory over the University of North Carolina Tar Heels.
