Miss Earth 2009,this is 9th time conducting the Miss Earth beauty pageant. A beauty contest or beauty pageant is a competition based mainly on the physical beauty of its contestants, They also should have talent and answer the questions which the judges will ask.This will not depend only for beauty but for physical beauty. This will be held at the Boracay Ecovillage Resort and Conention Centre which is the biggest convention center in Aklan ,Philippines on November 22 ,2009.
Miss Earth 2009
The Miss Earth winner gave a speech for the Miss Earth Foundation, The United Nations Environment Programme and other environment organizations. Miss Earth Foundation is a non stock ,non profit organization which serve as the environment ,social humanitarian of Miss earth beauty pageant.And United Nations Environment Programmer is the environment activities assisting developing countries .
Larissa Ramos
For this Miss Earth competition 80 competitors were participated from various countries and territories for the crown.At the conclusion of the competition Miss Larissa Ramos won the title of Miss Earth 2009. She was born in Manaus is the city of Brazil ,She was 19 years old .she also won the Beleza Brazil ’2008 title in November 28th ,2008 beating out 2 other contestants holding the title for a full year before becoming Miss Earth 2009.She was the second Brazilian to won the title. Miss Karla Henry who was the titleholder of Miss Earth 2008 and she to belongs to Brazil. Karla Henry crowned Larissa Ramos as her successor .Since 2003 for the first time all semifinals competed in both swimsuit and evening gown competitions.
