Brian Cushing was born on January 24, 1987 at Park Ridge in New Jersey. He is a professional American Football Linebacker for the Houston Texans of the National Football League. His height is 6 feet 3 inches and his weight is 119 kg. He was debuted in 2009 for the Houston Texans.
He was joined in Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey. He attended 2004 Group IV State Championship as a linebacker against Don Bosco Preparatory High School. He won the match. He was named “2004 North Jersey Player of the Year” by The Record (Bergen Country). He was played in the 2005 U.S. Army All-American Bowl with his teammates Patrick Turner, Rey Maualuga, and Mark Sanchez.

Brian Cushing got offers from top colleges such as the University of Florida, University of Virginia, Notre Dame, and Boston College before he joined in University of Southern California.
