AILEEN QUINN
Aileen Marie Quinn who is famously known as Aileen Quinn is an American actress. She became famous with the film Annie which was released in 1982, in which she played the title role.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Aileen Quinn was born on June 28, 1971 in Yardley, Pennsylvania, United States. Her mother was a theater actress. Quinn took inspiration from her mother to become an actress. She was raised up in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She completed her BA(Honors) in 1994 from Drew University. During her school days only she used to play different roles in “The wizard of oz”, “A Day in Hollywood”, “A Night in Ukraine” etc.

CAREER: She first worked as a translator for a short time and then late she took a role in the touring company of Fiddler on the Roof in 1975.
She covered the roles of orphan in the Broadway company of Annie before moving on to the main role at the age of 10. She also acted in Peter Pan and Saturday Night Fever. She was then taken in to “The Frog Prince” at the age of 14. She said that her aim is to become a famous actress having a large number of fans appreciating her.
She hosted a program called Generation Gap which is used to teach the kids how to solve conflicts. It was broadcast ed on PBS in 2004. It was written and directed by Edna Harris. She also worked as an adjunct professor at Monmouth University, New Jersey. She is now booked to play a minor role in the upcoming film, Multiple Sarcasms. She is currently working as a drama and dance teacher at Hudson Catholic Regional High School, New Jersey.

AWARDS: She won the best actress award for the movie “Annie” of “Golden Globes USA” in the year 1983. She also won “Best Young artist” award for the movie Annie.
