Scott Bakula’s full name is Scott Stewart Bakula. He is an American actor. He was born on October 9, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S. His breaking role is Sam Beckett in the television series Quantum Leap. In 1991, he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor- Television Series Drama. He also nominated for four Emmy Awards. At present, he is working on the TNT series “Men of a Certain Age”.

Sally and J. Stewart Bakula were his parents. In 1973, He completed his graduation in Kirkwood High School in Kirkwood, Missouri. He liked soccer, tennis, and theatre during high school. Also, during high school he had the lead roles in Godspell and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at First Presbyterian Church in Kirkwood. He was also a member of Phi Gamma Delta during his college days.

He acted in an off Broadway production of “Three Guys Naked from the Waist Down”. He got five consecutive Viewers for Quality Television Awards for Best Actor in a Quality Drama Series. Bakula voiced Danny Cat in Cats Don’t Dance, a high rated but little known animated movie, singing in one number with Natalie Cole. He performed many roles. In April 2009, Bakula acted in the role on the TV show Chuck as Stephen Bartowski, the eponymous character’s long lost father. He also acted in three performances of Guys and Dolls at Hollywood Bowl.
