My Name Is Khan is an upcoming 2010 Bollywood film based upon a true story. This movie is directed by Karan Karan Johar who is one of the most Successful young film director in Bollywood.Co-produced by Johar and screenplay by Shibani Bathija .This film distributed by Dharma Production.In this movie the main stars are Shahrukh Khan and Kajol.And the music director of this film is Shankar -Ehsaan -loy composed the film’s score. Cinematography is by Ravi k.Chandran.

The trailer for this film “My Name Is Khan ” was released on 16th of this month at 10pm on the Star TV network across 70 countries. This film will be released on 12th February 2010 to many theaters.

Rizwan Khan is a Muslim child who has Asperger syndrome. Asperger syndrome is an disorder and people with it, show significant difficulties in social interaction along with restricted and also with repetitive patterns of behavior and interests. The people with this conditions will be characterized by widespread abormalities of Social interaction as well as severely restricted interests and they will be with highly repetitive behaviour.So, Tanay Chheda will grew up with his mother in Borivali area located in the north-west section of  Mumbai. As an adult Rizwan falls in love with a Hindu single mother ,Mandira who lives in San Francisco which is the fourth most populous city in California and 12th populous city in the US.

This story is about a relationship between two people ,between an individual and the state and between an individual and the country.Even though Rizwan not focusing the events of 9/11 the storylines explores the period afterwards . 9/11 is also known as September 11 attacks. These were a series of coordinated suicide attacks by al-Qaeda upon the US .After examines Rizwan’s mental behaviour the authorities arrests him temporarily and he was in custody. After his arrest he meets Radha who is a therapist helps him overcome the ordeal. Rizwan then begins his journey to find and meet President Christopher B.Duncan .

My Name is Khan will be screened at the Berlin International Film Festival in February 2010.
